Oyster Bay Yacht Club
Sam and I met at a University of Florida homecoming event in St. Augustine our sophomore year. We were right beside the Castillo de San Marcos and decided to sneak away from our group to visit the beautiful fort. Forgetting about the protection that surrounds the fort, I fell into the moat and fell in love with the guy who helped me up. Six years later, Sam and I visited the Castillo de San Marcos. He found the spot where our relationship began and proposed to me. We knew we wanted to get married near the marsh so we choose Oyster Bay Yacht Club in Sam’s hometown, Fernandina Beach, Florida. While trying on dresses, I fell in love with three different Mikaella dresses but I couldn’t resist how elegant and timeless the Mikaella 1802 felt while wearing it. The Chantilly lace was so soft and the flare on the bottom was lovely. Sam loved that I had chosen a gorgeous dress that I could dance in all night long. Our wedding was an enchanted night filled with the people we love, breathtaking views, delicious food, and entertaining music. My dress felt like it was made just for me.
