COUPLE’S WEDDING STORY:
Evan and I are currently residing in Germany for his work, we thought of eloping after we got engaged, but family is SO important to us. We had to have the wedding at home in Michigan surrounded by our family and friends! We got engaged in February and married less than four months later. I found my dress at Elizabeth’s Bridal Manor in April when I arrived home from Germany to start planning the wedding. It all came together so fast and it turned out perfectly! As family is the most important thing to Evan and I, we asked my grandparents if they wouldn’t mind if we had the ceremony at the family farm. They were so excited and began preparing the farm for our special day. My grandmother wanted her garden to look perfect for the pictures and it did! It was a very quick four months of planning and as I said before, it all turned out perfectly.
My day would not have been complete without this dress! The lace design and ivory color really fit our rustic theme and farm setting. The pockets were so practical for tissues (which were much needed by everyone). The sweetheart neckline, illusion top and ball gown style made me look and feel like a princess!
Lace was a major theme for our wedding because it’s so elegant yet classic and rustic at the same time. So, my bridesmaids and junior bridesmaids had lace in their dresses as well as my dress. Lace was also incorporated in the centerpieces of the tables at our reception. The lace design on my dress was perfect for our special day! I never wanted to take the dress off! I love looking back at all of the pictures so I can relive the day over and over. It was truly the best day of my life.
