The weather looked iffy all day, but the sun came out just in time for our outdoor ceremony, next to Lake Ontario. We exchanged our vows in front of our closest family and friends, as I wore my gorgeous Mikaella dress! As the guests went to cocktail hour, we took photos in the surrounding park and with Jason's uncle's vintage car (pictured).
We kicked off the reception with an amped-up bridal party entrance (including one pair shot-gunning beer!), and our first dance, to Lucky by Jason Mraz - a song that encapsulates how we felt that day: Lucky to be in love with my best friend.
The night was full of fun and laughs, as our kissing game had tables complete Letterman-style Top 5 lists to read to the room, and a crazy Swedish cousin stole the mic to teach the room how to say "Cheers" and "I love you" in Swedish. The night was topped off by an amazing dance party, a special late-night deliver of McDonald's burgers and fries (Jason's favourite), and a crazy lightning storm seen across the Lake (that had thankfully waited until everyone was inside to start!).
